Weddify is a wedding planning platform built for couples, guests, and vendors across cultures and languages. We think the tools couples use to plan the biggest day of their life shouldn't force them to choose between English and the people they actually want to invite.

What we build

One app that covers the whole wedding journey:

• Plan — create your event, manage guests, collect RSVPs, design seating charts, assign tasks, and coordinate with your partner and family.
• Discover — find vendors (photographers, venues, caterers, DJs, florists) with reviews, real-wedding posts, and direct messaging.
• Book & pay — reserve vendors with Stripe-processed deposits and final payments. No off-platform coordination scramble.
• Collect gifts — a cash fund that routes contributions directly to your Stripe account, not ours. Weddify never custodies your money.
• Share the day — a private event feed where guests post photos and messages, with a one-tap export to save everything when the wedding's over.

Why multilingual, specifically

The wedding-tech category is dominated by US-first products that treat multilingual support as a v3 feature. That works if your family all speaks English. For everyone else — a couple in Montreal with aunts and uncles in France and Algeria, a diaspora wedding bringing together grandparents across three continents, a destination wedding with international guests — "download this app and figure it out" is a friction wall that kills the experience.

The Weddify marketing site is available in ten languages today: English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Mandarin, Hindi, and Turkish. The mobile app launches in English, with additional languages rolling out as we grow — starting with the ones couples and guests actually need. Our long-term commitment is that guests see invitations, seating charts, and contribution prompts in their own language, not yours.

How we make money

We keep the math simple:

• Couples — free to sign up. Upgrade to unlock unlimited guests, premium seating features, and export of the wedding archive.
• Guests — always free. Contributing to a cash fund charges Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢); Weddify takes zero on top during launch.
• Vendors — pay a platform commission on bookings made through Weddify. We absorb the cost of acquisition, reviews infrastructure, and payment processing so vendors can focus on their work.

Where we are

Weddify is based in Canada and operated independently. We're a small team (solo, for now) focused on doing one thing well rather than piling on features that don't ship.

Who we are not

We're not a registry. We're not a wedding planner. We're not a money transmitter — every payment flows through Stripe, Connect-verified couple and vendor accounts, with no Weddify custody at any point. We're not trying to replace every app you use for your wedding — we're trying to be the one you actually come back to.
